A true reinvention of the tuxedo taking abstract an subtly feminine lines, Fall 2008 will be stunned with this contrasting ensemble. The colors are what you see here - black, white, and silver. Some details...
- The left shoulder will be capped by a panel of black reflection sequins, bringing sparkle up towards the face.
- A 3-D white lapel proudly sits on the front. This will most likely be satin.
- No classic tuxedo is complete without a cummerbund so here is our take - a modest sash of black and sliver pinstripe initiating from the right hip and graduating to the left thigh. This will be attached to the bodice.
- The coat tail, a true symbol of elegance and authority, follows only the right leg and is lined with the pin-stripe material while the outside is solid black. This too will be attached to the costume.
- To feel at home in the thea
tre, a lady mustn't forget her gloves. These white satin gauntlettes will cover the majority of the arm and will warp around the middle finger in order to blend with our equipment gloves. These will be tailored to each member.
- The buttons - tying it all together. Nonfunctional, they will be covered in matching white satin.
