I'm aware that you may not be able to attend the beginning of rehearsal, but please arrive as soon as possible. 5pm - 9pm is not optional and you must be 10 minutes early for any "Full Band" Rehearsal. Everyone should have a rifle and some a pink flag. Use this weekend to go through what we've done and be ready to move on come Monday. I will be at the school by 10am each day, so if you'd like to come practice, be my guest.
Be sure you always have appropriate rehearsal attire, all equipment, and water. I would also suggest a snack. On each day (except Wed.) between Guard and Band Camp, you will have exactly an hour for dinner.
Your attitudes so far have been wonderful. Don't let the heat, amount of time you spend listening to "Judy," or the frequency of the "One more time!" response get to your nerves. It's crunch time ladies. My goals for this week... 1) Finish opener with drill and work 2) Finish the Ballad, completely 3) Solidify ending after the swing flag If you're not able to attend the above Color Guard rehearsals at the times listed, just let me know. I'm off to the lake for some potato salad. Have a great weekend!

Everything needs to be in the Band Room by 6:45 on Thursday. Thanks for your help!
Everyone is well and, from what I can tell, enjoying themselves. The weather is the best I've ever experienced during band camp (and I've been through a few). No rain, no blistering heat, no swarms of June Bugs. All is well.
A reminder from our esteemed Band Booster President, The Honorable, Ever Encouraging, Original (drum roll.....) Mr. Danny Coleman!
Thanks to everybody that has so far been willing to help out...This is what we have so far....

As of this moment, we can plan on cooking 100-125 hamburgersand about 100 hot dogs. Richard Johnson has volunteered to drive the grills from the concession stand to camp. We will begin preparing/cooking food around 4pm so that the kids can eat around 5pm...
As of right now, Julie Polke, Richard Johnson, and Jimmy Boulware have volunteered to help cook...They could use some help. You can let Richard know if you can help at 678-8585 or email me and I will pass it along to him. If you need me to come by and pick up your food supplies, let me know. If you are bringing your stuff to the camp, please have it there by 4:45 at the latest, earlier is better...kids will be ready to eat at 5:00pm....We will be cooking out at the pavilion which is just beyond and around the curve from the swimming pool.

I hope to see everyone soon. Have a wonderful week!
