Audition Info...

What a wonderful meeting we had last week! It was so good to see so many new faces and I hope everyone is as excited about the upcoming season as I am. I know that, together, we will make absolute magic.

Audition Clinic

• Nov 27, 4pm - 7pm, High School Band Room
• Nov 29, 4pm - 7pm, High School Band Room
• Nov 30, 4pm - 7pm, High School Band Room

Everyone will know their status by the end of clinic on Friday. All of those accepted will have their first rehearsal on Dec. 1 from 4pm - 8pm in the High School gym.

Thanksgiving...

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and their families. Be sure to give your loved ones some kind thoughts and big ole' hugs.

Interesting...

So the past couple of games have made me ever so proud to wear blue. Hats off to our guys making it to the second round of playoffs!

Plan of Action...

With our early departure and my inevitably late arrival on Friday, we need a plan. So here it is...

• The order for hair is Courtney, Coleman, Hannah, Julian, Kelsey, Erin, Alyson, then the Emilys. The second school is over, be standing by ready for your hair to be done. You can do make-up on the bus.
• Mrs. Johnson has graciously offered to get dinner and deliver it on Friday. She will be going to McDonald's so I need to know the following by the end of Thursday...
• Hamburger or Cheeseburger (we'll have condiments in the room)
• Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, or Sierra Mist
• $3 will be due to Mrs. Johnson on Friday.
• Have everything packed and ready to go at 4pm. Make sure you have your white gloves and a jacket.
• Emi, Alyson, and Bookie...while everyone else is getting their hair done, take the equipment bags to the loading area. Everyone should check during 4th to make sure they have everything. Also pull the wagon out beside the bags.
• You will eat in Mrs. Newman's room and do make-up on the bus. There should not be a McDonald's bag on the bus. Regular snacks and drinks are fine...but make sure you clean up, as you always do.

We'll hash this out again on Thursday. I'm sure I'll think of more by then. Remember, all black on Thursday and we're staying until 6:15. Dress for chilly weather.

Grateful...

I sometimes forget to tell you this, but I am so lucky to have such a committed team and supporters. You make it so easy and I look forward to my trip to Chelsea each day.

So, thanks. Just wanted to drop that in there.
