Truly a Mia Michaels Experience...

So this morning, we had a lesson with the Great Mia Michaels from 10 - 2. Yes...I'm one tired and sore puppy. But it is amazing the insight and straight-up love such a teacher can give. Today was the first time she had ever seen or heard of "color guard." A quote to that respect, "I had no idea that such a beautiful activity existed. I mean, you do everything I do, but with sharp and heavy things! I'm blown away." She then went on to say that she will consider getting involved in WGI. Yes...you read that right...an internationally known choreographer is interested in what you do!

She taught us a dance she used on the show and, once I get it down (sometime around next August!) I'll show it to you all.

EVERYONE will love this show we watched in a workshop today. You first need to familiarize yourself with the background by clicking here. Then you can watch the show by clicking here. And no...we can't do that this year. Maybe next year. ;)

I've heard great things about Friday's show. I can't wait to see you guys and get started feeding you some of the great knowledge I've gleaned this weekend. Winter season...all I can say is "watch out."

I love you all and will see you on Tuesday. Watch for Monday's email with all kinds of fun things!
