Prop Help...

Thank you for your help. Please look over the performance schedule and select as you wish. You'll need to leave a comment to this post with your intentions. Some points to remember...

• We need 7 people per performance.
• All you have to do is place the props on the sideline and remove them when the show is over.

Some Needs...

- As some of you may noticed, we had some prop/equipment woes during set up. This is completely my fault. It didn't occur to me that the band was coming on from the front until...they were coming on from the front of the field! What we need is at least 5 parents/supporters per performance to help us get everything in place. The props can be carried two at a time, aren't heavy, and the only responsibility is getting them on and off the field. We'll have them put together prior to half-time. If you can give us a hand, please let me know.

- We need a "tape man (or woman)" to record our performances for review. I would like to spend a portion of our weekly sectional reviewing the previous performance. DVD or tape...doesn't matter. Just let me know if you can help.

Make-up and hair and ballgames, O MY

Thursday

• Call at 5pm in the Lobby. You need to come ready for hair and make-up. Wear your pink tank and black shorts. See below for a list of things to bring.
• Band Rehearsal, 6pm – 8pm

Friday

• Call at 4:30 in Mrs. Newman’s Room. Dinner will be served then as well.
• Kick-off at 6:30

List for hair…

• Brush
• Hair/bobby pins (lots)
• Several tight ponytail holders (should match your hair color)
• Sock bun Click here for info on making a sock bun. Just scroll down for the pictures. Be sure the sock is complimentary of your hair color.

You need to come with your hair as straight as possible. It should be in a TIGHT ponytail in a natural position. It should also be parted to one side (what ever side is most natural) with everything sprayed and pinned back. The straighter the better.

List for make-up…

• Black liquid eyeliner (cheap is great)
• Black pencil eyeliner (cheap is great)
• Mascara
• Your usual blush, base, and such
• Your lipcolor that I gave you (put your name on it)
• I have your eyeshadow

The only thing we should do at school on Thursday is your eyes. We’ll have an instructional session and go from there so please have everything ready. It’s going to be a rush to get everyone done as it is.

• National Relaxation Day

Thursday (8/16)

• Band Rehearsal, 6pm - 8pm. You must be on the field by 5:50. You should set your equipment before time to be in the basics block. Remember, all belongings including bags go around the 30. Don't forget to wear your shoes.
• Account Summaries will be sent home.

Friday (8/17)

• Sandcastle Day

Saturday (8/18)

• Color Guard Rehearsal, 9am - 8pm, High School Gym
• Lunch, 11am - 12pm
• Dinner, 5pm - 6pm

Hair: natural, half-up/half-down (ears must be visible)

Make up: your usual everything but lips. I'll have your lip color.

Earrings: yes I'll remember them.

Performance Black (Black Tank, Black Capris)

No shoes for this one. You can wear flip flops and then take them off and stick them behind a chair for the picture. But you will need tennis shoes for rehearsal.

Special thanks to Mr. Bookout and Mr. Coleman for their help with the screens today. All of the frames are finished and I can't wait to see them on the field!
