(sings) Band Camp is Hot HOT HOT!
Several water breaks were taken today as we ventured into the second song. Spirits are high, bodies are tired, and minds are engaged. Could this be the best yet? I think so! Keep all of these lovely kids in your thoughts. They've hit each and every new skill thrown at them with amazing stride. Special thanks to all of the parents keeping the kids in place as well as the staffs' minds! Pics will be uploaded for dinner. 30 minutes until sectionals on the field.

Lost and found...
It's that time of year when everything gets pulled out of the closet and gets put in a better place. Not surprising is the amount of clothes that were left. Any of this look familiar (click on the pic to enlarge)...
Some things we noticed...Erin Standifer - your jacket, Emily Moore - the 83 inch heels, Natalie Coleman - speaker?, Kelsey Adcock - Clinique tote?, Kristina Kelley - black flip flops?
It's a new day in the Visual Ensemble (VE) Room and you'll all be surprised.
If any of this is yours, please let me know and/or come get it by next Friday.

Costume Unveild!
You've berated me long enough guys. Well here it is.A true reinvention of the tuxedo taking abstract an subtly feminine lines, Fall 2008 will be stunned with this contrasting ensemble. The colors are what you see here - black, white, and silver. Some details...
- The left shoulder will be capped by a panel of black reflection sequins, bringing sparkle up towards the face.
- A 3-D white lapel proudly sits on the front. This will most likely be satin.
- No classic tuxedo is complete without a cummerbund so here is our take - a modest sash of black and sliver pinstripe initiating from the right hip and graduating to the left thigh. This will be attached to the bodice.
- The coat tail, a true symbol of elegance and authority, follows only the right leg and is lined with the pin-stripe material while the outside is solid black. This too will be attached to the costume.
- To feel at home in the thea
tre, a lady mustn't forget her gloves. These white satin gauntlettes will cover the majority of the arm and will warp around the middle finger in order to blend with our equipment gloves. These will be tailored to each member. - The buttons - tying it all together. Nonfunctional, they will be covered in matching white satin.
